Anger Thermometer

This Anger Thermometer is a visual self-regulation tool designed to help students identify and reflect on the intensity of their anger. It illustrates a range of emotional states using a color gradient within a thermometer shape—starting with Calm at the base and rising through Minorly Irritated, Annoyed, Frustrated, Intense Frustration, Angry, and finally Exploding at the top.

Students can use the thermometer to check in with themselves throughout the day, name their current emotional state, and recognize when they may need to use a coping strategy. This tool supports emotional awareness and helps build vocabulary around anger.
