Emotions aren't always simple, sometimes we feel happy and nervous, excited and scared, or even relieved and sad all at once. In this lesson, students will explore the concept of mixed emotions and begin to understand that it’s normal and healthy to experience more than one feeling at a time.
Through a relatable story and reflection-based activities, students will learn to identify and name multiple emotions in a single situation. This lesson promotes emotional complexity, self-awareness, and a more compassionate understanding of themselves and others.
