In this project, you will become a National Park Explorer! Your mission is to research one of America’s national parks and create a creative, informative presentation that showcases its natural beauty, unique features, wildlife, ecosystems, history, and conservation efforts.

You will organize your research into a collage-style project, which can be created digitally or by hand. The final product should teach others about your park in a way that is visually engaging, factually accurate, and easy to understand.

This project helps you practice research, organization, visual presentation, and writing—all while learning about the incredible national parks that help preserve nature, wildlife, and history across the United States.

Your Project Will Include:
  • Basic park facts (name, location, size, year established)

  • Natural landmarks (like geysers, canyons, lakes, or mountains)

  • Ecosystems and biomes found in the park

  • Native wildlife and plant life (including endangered species)

  • Historical and cultural significance (including Indigenous connections)

  • What visitors can see and do

  • A conservation message

  • Fun facts or surprising trivia

  • Visual elements like pictures, maps, drawings, or emblems
