Lesson 6 – What Does Calm Feel Like? Students explore the feeling of calm and how it shows up in the body and mind. They learn techniques for identifying calm moments and ways to create calm during stress.
Lesson 7 – Disgust & “Ick” This lesson unpacks the often-overlooked emotion of disgust, helping students recognize the “ick” feeling and distinguish between personal preferences, boundaries, and safety-related reactions.
Lesson 8 – Surprise! How We React to the Unexpected Students investigate how surprise can show up as positive, negative, or neutral. Through reflection and storytelling, they identify physical and emotional reactions to the unexpected.
Lesson 9 – Tired, Bored, or Overwhelmed? This lesson guides students in sorting through low-energy emotions and identifying the differences between tiredness, boredom, and overwhelm—three often-confused feelings with different solutions.
Lesson 10 – How Does My Body Show Emotions? Students learn to tune into body signals (like clenched fists or racing hearts) as emotional cues. The lesson highlights the mind-body connection and introduces strategies for checking in with physical responses.
